SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMANCE ANNOUNCEMENT!
We have the
honor to announce that Carlos Peña,
the Latin American Idol Winner from Guatemala, will be performing at
the event this year! Carlos Peña is an activist for children with Down
Syndrome in Guatemala and was awarded the title of "Ambassador of Peace”
by the Guatemalan government.
AND SO MUCH MORE...
Come
experience an event with an amazing array of food and family
entertainment including a kite display from the children of Semillas de
Amor, train rides, face painting, silent auction, family portraits,
enchanting musical entertainers, cool kid's crafts, lots of live
creatures, a Guatemalan dinner, and a bonfire with s'mores and sparklers
to cap off the night!
You will also get to hear from Nancy
Bailey, Founder and Director of Semillas de Amor, about the educational
plans and needs of the 30 Semillas residential children.
We encourage you to buy your tickets early as the event sold out last year.
Tickets are $150/adult ($100 tax deductible).
Each adult ticket purchased welcomes up to two children under 15 for free. Additional children may attend for $50/child.
If
you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute to the
event, there are several ways you can do so through ticket purchases,
donations of and/or bids on Silent Auction items, and encouraging your
interested friends to come anyway!
